COVID-19 UPDATE
August 18th, 2020
Hello volunteers! Due to COVID's impact within our communities at the moment, we will not be able to organize in-person on school grounds or plan any large events this school year. However, we hope to provide many opportunities for students in helping our animals! We will still be planning shifts at various PetSmarts, where social distancing and masks will be implemented at all times. In addition, we are brainstorming to host virtual advocacy, social media, and fundraising events! Let's get active in our fight against animal injustice!
OUR SECOND YEAR DOING PWAC HOLIDAY SUPPLY DRIVE!

In early December 2019, we really saw our members come together and build the best supply drive for the community yet. From attending countless meetings on advertising, to writing and painting every single poster around our schools, we drew up overflowing bins of donated goods! Thank you to everyone who participated!
TAMPA BAY HUMANE SOCIETY VOLUNTEERING!

We are proud to announce our volunteering partnership with the Tampa Bay Humane Society and Liz McCoy! As director of the volunteering operations of the Humane Society, Liz will be working with Paws With A Cause to organize monthly shifts to help find our community's dogs a loving home. Large groups of 4-10 will attend weekend mornings to kennel, organize paperwork, and learn more about the operations of the Humane Society. We are beyond excited about this new educational experience for our members!
FIRST ANNUAL PET ADOPTION EVENT
Date of Event: February 16th, 2020
It has been an amazing first quarter into 2020! The biggest highlight would be the 1st Annual Pet Adoption Event at the Summerfield Crossings Sunday Market. So many lovely dogs and cats put on their purr-tiest smiles and paw-some attitudes greeting many that came their way. Raffle baskets were also put together by the club to raise money for our partnered organizations. The most amazing part... seeing some of these beautiful animals become lifelong companions to such warm-hearted families. A day well spent for Paws with a Cause in association with Rescue Cats of Florida, Heidi's Legacy and Mercy Full Project.
